Sani Golden Empowers Women in Mangu North

On Monday, 15 December 2025, Mangu North Constituency hosted a heartwarming Christmas empowerment programme organized by the Plateau State Liaison Officer, Alhaji Sani Golden, to support women across the constituency. Held in the spirit of the season, the programme reached over 500 women, each of whom received a wrapper and a cash gift of ₦5,000.

The initiative was designed to ease the economic burden on vulnerable women, especially during the festive period, and to show leadership’s commitment to inclusive and people-focused development. The event was filled with joy and gratitude, with beneficiaries, community leaders, and other stakeholders expressing deep appreciation.

While addressing participants, Alhaji Sani Golden described women as the backbone of families and communities and stressed the need for intentional support. He explained that empowering women is both a moral duty and a practical step toward lasting community development.

He added that the programme aligns with the ongoing efforts of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh, whose administration places strong emphasis on welfare, unity, and progress in Plateau State. He noted that the people made the right choice in electing a leader who is compassionate, visionary, and committed to serving the masses.

Alhaji Sani Golden also assured constituents of his continued dedication to service, stating that leadership goes beyond holding a position. He pledged to keep supporting initiatives that uplift women, strengthen families, and improve livelihoods in Mangu North during both good times and difficult moments.

The Christmas empowerment programme was widely seen as a success and a clear demonstration of responsive leadership, compassion, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people.
